She graduated from Life University with a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2000. Dr. Katherine has dedicated her professional life to providing exceptional chiropractic care across the state of Florida. In addition to serving patients, Dr. Katherine served our country in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1997 to 2005 as a Petty Officer.
Dr. Zander Van Schalkwyk, D.C. is a true powerhouse both inside and outside the clinic. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 2021, following an accomplished athletic career. While at Life University, he won two National Championships with the university’s Undergraduate Rugby team and another the Men’s Club team. Dr. Zander later played professional rugby for Rugby ATL, as well as competed at the World Championships in Karate. These achievements have given him a unique perspective on movement, body mechanics, and injury recovery, knowledge he integrates into his hands-on chiropractic techniques and treatment plans.

Erlin Monrouzeau brings over 13 years of experience in the Chiropractic field and nearly 20 years as a paralegal in personal injury, health law, and nursing home law. As Shaker Spine & Sport Institute's Clinical Director, she combines her background in law and hands-on clinical experience to bridge the gap between legal processes and chiropractic care, ensuring patients feel protected, informed, and supported. In addition to her expertise in Chiropractic billing and credentialing, Erlin is passionate about cultivating meaningful connections and ensuring patients receive compassionate, high-quality care. Outside the office, Erlin leads Purposeful Living Women, a faith-based networking group in South Tampa, empowering women to grow with purpose and support.
Dr. Richard R. Shaker, D.C. is recognized as one of the nations leading physicians for the treatment of both acute and chronic joint injuries.
